Throws everyday terracotta on a stone wheel using river clay from the family's own land.

Arul's family has fired pots in the same open kiln for as long as anyone in the village remembers. After a few years working in a city print shop, he came home to modernise the shapes — lighter water pots, stackable lamps — while keeping the clay, the wheel and the slow firing unchanged.
